The purpose of Learning and Development at PKAVS is to ensure that every team member has the necessary knowledge, skills, and where appropriate qualifications to become an expert in their role, and to deliver consistently outstanding services to our clients and beneficiaries.
As an organisation, we are committed to continuously raising the standard of our services and we believe that Learning and Development plays a vital part in this, which in turn enables the achievement of our charitable purpose and our strategic goals.

At PKAVS, we offer many learning opportunities, grouped into the following categories:

Statutory and Mandatory training: all Statutory and Mandatory training courses are available through Bob's Business. All PKAVS employees need to complete the same courses regardless their roles in the organisation. These statutory training courses are required by law, while the mandatory training courses are relating to our organisation's policies and best practice.

PKAVS Learning Calendar 2025: Based on the feedback of our Great Place To Work Committee, every PKAVS employee has the opportunity to participate in face to face workshops delivered by external training providers.
