Difficult Conversations Matter

A group of 20 colleagues recently participated in the Difficult Conversations Matter workshop, delivered by Fiona Matthews and Leigh Must from PKC as part of the PKAVS Learning Calendar. This full-day, interactive session focused on practical strategies for handling challenging conversations, with lots of opportunities for reflection and discussion.

The workshop explored different topics such as:

• Preparing and delivering difficult conversations with confidence.

• Recognising how attitudes and behaviours can affect discussions.

• Practising active listening to foster understanding.

• Applying communication models and theories to enhance clarity and connection.

This session was part of the ongoing commitment to learning and development through the PKAVS Learning Calendar.
