I’m happy to let you know that the PKAVS Volunteer Committee is making great progress in strengthening our volunteer programme, aligning closely with our Volunteer Strategy and organisational mission. A new section on the intranet dedicated to the Volunteer Committee now provides easy access to key resources, including the new Volunteer Handbook, volunteer induction presentation, and the 2024 Volunteer Programme Strategy and Plan. We’ve also implemented a clear volunteer induction process and developed induction materials to support our new volunteers. In addition, we are actively involving our volunteers in the PKAVS training calendar, ensuring that volunteers feel supported, and they have the knowledge they need to do their best. These efforts are helping enhance volunteer engagement and creating a positive, meaningful experience for all involved.

You can explore these new materials by visiting the intranet under About Us > Committees > Volunteer Committee.
